A New Home for Belonging and Movement: The Oaks Fieldhouse
Tab Recreation

There are so many good reasons to communicate with site visitors. Tell them about sales and new products or update them with tips and information.

There are moments when a building is more than just a building. Moments when it represents something bigger...something lasting. The new Fieldhouse at The Oaks Academy is one of those moments.

Set to open in Fall 2026, this space will feature three full basketball courts and an elevated indoor track. On paper, it’s a state-of-the-art athletic facility. But for the families, kids, and community organizations it will serve, it represents something much deeper: Access. Opportunity. Belonging.

For years, one of the biggest challenges in youth sports, especially in our community, has been access to consistent, high-quality indoor space. Practices get squeezed. Schedules shift. Opportunities are limited, not by effort or passion, but by availability. The Oaks Fieldhouse changes that. This facility creates room to grow—literally and figuratively. It opens the door for more teams, more practices, more games, and more moments that matter. It allows organizations like Tab Recreation to operate with consistency, structure, and vision. And that changes everything.

Through our partnership with The Oaks Academy, Tab Recreation will have the opportunity to call this Fieldhouse home for basketball and expanded programming. This means A consistent, reliable space for leagues and practices, The ability to grow participation and welcome more families, A better experience for players, coaches, and parents, and the opportunity to host events, tournaments, and community gatherings at a higher level. But beyond operations, this space allows us to be more intentional in how we serve.

At Tab Recreation, we believe sports are a vehicle, not the destination. They are a way to build confidence, teach discipline, create connection, and show every child that they belong. This Fieldhouse gives us the environment to do that even better.

The impact of this facility won’t stop at the baseline or the sideline. For kids, it means a safe, structured place to grow on and off the court. For families, it means a consistent, welcoming environment to gather and connect. For the community, it means a shared space that brings people together across neighborhoods, backgrounds, and experiences. The elevated track alone opens new doors inviting adults, seniors, and families into a space designed not just for competition, but for movement and health at every stage of life. This is how communities are strengthened. Not just through programs, but through places that invite people in.

At its core, the Oaks Fieldhouse is an investment in people. It’s a commitment to the idea that every child deserves access to quality spaces, strong mentorship, and opportunities to grow. It’s a step toward closing gaps that have existed for far too long. And it’s a foundation for what’s next. For Tab Recreation, it represents the future. A future where we continue to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and stay rooted in what matters most: Belonging and Movement.

The doors may not open until Fall 2026, but the impact is already being built. Whether you’re a parent, coach, volunteer, or community partner, there’s a place for you in what’s ahead. Because this isn’t just a new facility. It’s a new chapter.
